This Thursday, October 9, Dexter Middle School and Dexter High School will be holding a student Title IX presentation. This presentation is designed to help students understand their rights, responsibilities, and the protections provided under Title IX. It will cover age-appropriate information on discrimination, harassment, and how to seek help if needed.
We strongly encourage all middle and high school students to participate, as this information is important for creating a safe and respectful school environment.
If you do not wish for your child to participate, please send a written note to your child’s school or call the school office before the presentation.

Herff Jones will be at Dexter's Miller Auditorium on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 @ 11:00 AM to provide our juniors and seniors with a presentation regarding class rings, letterman jackets, and graduation items.

🌱Exciting news from Dexter Schools 🪴we're growing something new - literally! Mr. Pierce along with his students are building a greenhouse that will give students hands-on learning opportunities science, agriculture, and sustainability. This space will allow our students to explore plant life, learn about healthy foods, and see the results of their hard work come to life. 🪴🍎🌷The greenhouse will not only be a classroom, but also a place where curiosity, responsibility, and teamwork can bloom. We can't wait to see how this project benebits our students and community for years to come. 🌶️Stay tune for updates as our greenhouse takes shape.
Last year, we caught a picture of a Dexter grad on Noticias Telemundo! Mercedes Levario, Class of 2023, is attending UNM working on a double-major - Pre-Law and Psychology. Through UNM's CAMP program, she was given the opportunity to work with Senator Nava, learning about the legislative process. As a guest of Senator Nava, Mercedes was introduced on the House Floor. We're proud of you, Mercedes!

The NMAA will be coming to Dexter on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 @ 5:30 PM in the Dexter Miller Auditorium. All athletes from all sports (fall, winter, and spring) as well as Dexter activities are highly encouraged to come. This will be Dexter's preseason presentation and done in-person by NMAA staff. We want to welcome them to Dexter and thank them in advance for providing our athletes, parents, and Athletics/Activities Department with this in-person presentation to enhance our unity as a Dexter Community & School.
