Dexter Schools Shines at the Chaves County 4-H & FFA Fair!

Dexter Schools was proudly represented at the Chaves County 4-H and FFA Fair this week by nine hardworking students. Our students showcased their talents by exhibiting pigs, sheep, goats, dairy heifers, chickens, as well as entering Home Arts and Welding projects.

We encourage all students to participate in extracurricular athletics/activities that are offered at Dexter Schools. Our Athletic/Activity Department is ready to begin a NEW school year with positivity and a hope to develop strong programs that will benefit our students. Parents and students are encouraged to join the BANDapps that their son/daughter would like to be a part of this upcoming school year 2025-2026.

Dexter Consolidated School District's regular scheduled board meeting for July 14, will be moved to Monday, July 21, 2025 @ 5:00pm. The district will have a meet and greet with the new administrators. We would love for our community, students, families, and staff to come meet our new administrators.

Demon Football is back! The team and their coaches are gearing up for a new season. Summer has been work, focus, and non-stop football for these athletes. Go Demons! *more pictures are on Dexter District facebook page

Boys Basketball has been working hard this summer building on a new program and increasing intensity. Go Demons! Thank you to the athletes that SHOWED UP even when it was hard. Dexter Girls Basketball ended their summer season off with an alumni game that entertained everyone in attendance! Thank you to those who participated and helped put on a fun experience for our Dexter Lady Demons who have worked so hard throughout the summer.

Congratulations to 2025 Dexter Graduate, Hanna Sanders. She will attend Adams State University where she will play softball for the Grizzlies. Hanna brought leadership, friendship, and a whole lot of talent to the Dexter softball program this last season. We are proud to have her as part of our Dexter Demon family and can't wait to see her on the softball field playing at the next level.
