Text Box: Mrs. King has been employed at Dexter Schools for nineteen years.  During that time, she has taught Special Education at the elementary level and been a classroom teacher in the third, fourth and fifth grades.
Five years ago she left the regular classroom to serve as director of the 21st Century Community Learning Center 
After School and Summer School Programs.  
After three years at this position, she became K-12 Programs Director for Dexter Consolidated Schools.  
In this position she directed the Bilingual Program, 
Federal Programs, Testing Programs, STARS and the Teacher Mentor Program.  Mrs. King is very excited about Welcome

Every student will get to choose a brand new book three times this year.  Donations from community sponsors will help meet our obligations for matching funds.
