In 1914 the Methodists moved to the old Dunkard Church which was locate at the present site of HIS HOUSE at 300 W. Third. When the Dunkard's sold their building to the Church of Christ, the Methodists met with the Presbyterians. They took turns conducting the services from week to week. In 1926 construction began on the current building. It was dedicated on April 6, 1930 by Rev. Johnson. The congregation celebrated its 100th anniversary in May, 2005.
