In 1950, another congregation from Greenfield constructed a new building on the East side of Dexter at 300 East Second Street. Known as the Eastside Church of Christ, the Aston family donated the funds they gained as a result of losing a daughter in a train accident to put up the building. Now in 2005, this congregation still meets every Lord's Day.
