The Dexter Barber Shop was built in 1907, but the current building was relocated to it's present day location in 1914.  Glenn Latimer owned the barber shop before Bill Caldwell.  Mr. Caldwell has been a barber since 1963.  ay, it is used only for storage. He purchased the barber shop in 1997.

During the Barber Shop's earlier days , customers enjoyed making a trip to town to get their hair cut and play pool in the billiard has located in the back of the Barber Shop.  To this day the billiard hall is still equipped with the original pool tables, cues and signs.  The billiard room is now only used for storage.
