Hello Students & Parents,
Wow, this year is really going by fast. With the new 9-weeks, comes a new gifted unit. In gifted we are currently studying water environments, the students are particularly interest in marine biomes. We will be reading and researching the effects of industry on these watery ecosystems. In chemistry we are studying about electrons and how their placement in orbitals effects their physical and chemical properties. In biology we are looking at owl pellets and determing food chains and food webs. This will lead us into our research into on our different biomes. Physics is currently studying linear motion, this unit has included a lot of activities on speed, acceleration and free falling.

I am be available to students and parents most days before school, beginning at 7:35, during the lunch tutoring period, and after school on Tuesdays until 4:30. If these times are not convenient for you, please email or call to make other arrangements.
