Hello...I am Mrs. Ervin. I have been a teacher at Dexter Schools for almost 5 years. I grew up and graduated High School in Hagerman (no booing me!). I spent 2 years in the United States Navy and loved every minute of it. It was the best experience of my life...it helped me to grow as a person and to find the person that I wanted to be. After the military, I went back to college and received my teaching degree and am currently working on my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a Specialization in Special Education with a certificate in Educational Diagnostician. I absolutely love teaching here at Dexter. I could not ask for a better group of people to work with.
As for my home life, I have 2 kids, Gunner (16) and Jayci (8), who are my world. Gunner attends High School in Hagerman and Jayci is in the second grade here in Dexter. We love watching and playing all sports. My favorite football team is the Chicago Bears (they are orange!!) and I absolutely dislike the Dallas Cowboys. :) My favorite hobbies are Geocaching and traveling, while spending time with my kids!! I am so happy to be teaching here in Dexter and am looking forward to this year and the greatness that I know my students are capable of achieving!!
